4-H volunteering

Volunteers play a vital role in the ongoing growth and development of those in the 4‑H Youth Development program.

Our network of over 500,000 volunteers provide caring and supportive mentoring to all 6 million 4‑H’ers, helping them grow into true leaders. Volunteers are managed through local 4‑H offices so we recommend contacting your community’s 4‑H office to learn how you can get involved.
